Protective Order Registry

Georgia’s law enforcement officers, prosecuting attorneys and judges can access protective orders issued by the courts of this state and foreign courts 24 hours of the day, 7 days of the week through the GBI’s Georgia Protective Order Registry.  The Georgia Commission on Family Violence was a central partner in the development the 2001 legislation creating the Protective Order Registry.
