Choosing Peace for Men: Facilitator Training
Curriculum Training
Empower yourself with the tools to facilitate transformative change in the lives of men who have committed family violence offenses. Choosing Peace for Men is an intensive three-day training designed for professionals seeking a deeper understanding of evidence-informed intervention strategies that foster accountability, self-regulation, and non-violent decision-making.
- Day One: Gain insight into the history of the domestic violence advocacy movement in the U.S. while exploring foundational theories—including Choice Theory, Social Learning Theory, and group facilitation principles—that shape effective interventions.
- Day Two: Master key concepts of the Choosing Peace curriculum, including connecting habits, Glasser’s Solving Circle, the P.A.U.S.E. method, emotional regulation, and the tactics of neutralization that often hinder change.
- Day Three: Develop the facilitator mindset by understanding total behavior, self-regulation, and co-regulation. Through hands-on practice, participants will refine their ability to guide individuals toward lasting transformation.
This training is more than an educational experience—it is a call to action for those committed to breaking cycles of violence and fostering genuine behavioral change. Are you ready to lead with knowledge, empathy, and impact?
