Healthy Breakups Online
Breakups have always been hard, but ending a relationship today involves a whole new set of risks and challenges. In this session, we’ll explore actionable, safe, and healthy ways to disentangle our digital lives in an increasingly hyperconnected world, and how to resolve conflicts unique to online environments. We’ll also highlight practical strategies for setting boundaries around intimate images, navigating interactions on social media, and safely managing shared accounts and location sharing.

Learning Objectives 

Attendees will be able to:

  • Identify common digital risks and challenges that arise at the end of a relationship in online spaces.
  • Demonstrate strategies for safely managing shared accounts, location sharing, and intimate images during a breakup.
  • Apply boundary-setting practices tailored to apps, devices, and accounts.
