FVIP Basics 1: Joining the Movement to End Family Violence (6 FVIP Hours)
This training explores the movement to end family violence through discussions and activities, including a review of the history of batterer intervention programs in the United States and Georgia. An overview of research on the effectiveness of batterer intervention programs will be provided. The training will conclude with a detailed discussion on the steps and requirements of facilitator certification.
This training is approved by the Commission for 6 FVIP hours.
Important Information for Facilitators in Training
Facilitators in Training MUST complete the first day of FVIP Basics before beginning any other facilitator certification requirements.

Registration is free. However, due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled training. This gives us an opportunity to fill the class.
