Group work is at the heart of successful Family Violence Intervention Programs (FVIP). This dynamic training is designed to strengthen the skills of current and future facilitators by simplifying the process of leading effective groups. Participants will explore the stages of group development, open vs. closed group formats, strategies for managing challenging dynamics, and ways to engage diverse learners.
Trainees will also be introduced to the 6Rs of Choosing Peace, a practical framework that enhances group connection and accountability. The training highlights the unique benefits of group work in the FVIP setting—where seasoned participants often model growth for others, and where groups create more cost-effective, time-efficient, and transformative outcomes.
