The goal of this training is to encourage the use of a racial equity framework to improve outcomes for survivors of domestic violence and their children. As a result of this training, participants will:

  • Develop a working vocabulary of concepts related to culture and equity.
  • Recognize the many facets of diversity and identity.
  • Gain a better understanding of their own identity and how that impacts relationships with others.
  • Explore the relevance of culture and how it influences violence against women’s work.
  • Receive tools that will enable them to develop action steps to promote racial equity personally, organizationally, and in broader social change efforts.
  • Both trainings are based off one another, so we encourage you to attend both days.
