Joint Statement on Addressing Domestic Violence during COVID-19 Pandemic

ATHENS - The Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV) announced April Ross as their incoming Executive Director during the opening session of the agency’s 25th Annual Statewide Family Violence Conference at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia on September 9th.

ATLANTA - The Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV) will host its 25th annual Statewide Family Violence Conference at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia. The conference begins Sunday, September 8th and runs through Wednesday, September 11th.

ATLANTA -- The Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV) and the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence (GCADV) released the 15th and final Annual Report of the Georgia Domestic Violence Fatality Review Project (the Project) on December 17, 2018.

In 2004, the Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV) and the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence (GCADV) joined together, with support from the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC), to start the Georgia Domestic Violence Fatality Review Project (the Project).
