Family Violence Fatality Review Verification Training
The Georgia Commission on Family Violence (GCFV) will be joining the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia (PAC) to discuss the Fatality Review Verification Process.

The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia is hosting a webinar featuring GCFV's Fatality Review Coordinator, Carolynn Brooks, who will provide a presentation on the purposes of gathering family violence death data, an overview of the important role that prosecution plays in gathering this data, and review the instructions for completing family violence fatality verification. The training will feature a demonstration of the tracking forms and detailed instructions for completing the verification of domestic-violence related deaths that have occurred in Georgia.
The training is open to all parties interested, but the target audience are Victim Witness Program Directors and Advocates who have been identified as a liaison by the Director for purposes of family violence fatality verification with GCFV.
