In today's society, the concept of masculinity has evolved significantly. It is crucial to understand how masculinity is developed and expressed, as it plays a significant role in shaping individuals and their actions. While it is true that most interpersonal crime is committed by men, it is equally true that most men do not commit interpersonal crime. Raising healthy boys and encouraging healthy masculinity is one of the best-known interpersonal violence prevention strategies.
In this enlightening presentation, we explore the development and expression of masculinity as a social construct. We can and must change if we hope to reduce crimes against people.
