Temporary Protection Orders (TPOs) are often a victim's first—and sometimes only—barrier between safety and fatal violence. This two-day law enforcement symposium takes a deep dive into the multifaceted role of TPOs in the fight against domestic violence homicide.

From foundational definitions to statutory updates and real-time enforcement strategies, participants will engage in candid discussions, scenario-based activities, and data-driven analysis. This course challenges assumptions, confronts misuse, and reinforces collaborative solutions that prioritize survivor safety and offender accountability.

With a focus on lethality indicators, statutory tools, judicial perspectives, and enforcement practices, this training equips law enforcement professionals (and community partners) to treat every TPO response as a potential act of homicide prevention.

*POST-certified officers will receive 12 FREE POST credits for completing this 2-day training.

**Law Enforcement and Community Partners are all encouraged to attend.
