You will not want to miss this opportunity to build your facilitation toolbox as David Garvin and Jeffrie Cape offer guidance on developing conceptual clarity to enhance our work with men who batter.

Over the course of two days, participants will explore:

  • Developing a clearly defined concept of battering intervention work centered on accurate etiology of battering behavior
  • Unpacking substance abuse and other complexities in men's lives that may be connected to, but not the root cause of their abusive choices
  • Defining the key components of building an FVIP
  • Incorporating a trauma informed approach in FVIP
  • Understanding and applying the Accountability Model
  • Constructing a curriculum and FIVP model built on conceptual clarity
