FVIP Basics 3: Participant, Program & Class Process

FVIP Basics 3 is required for all Facilitators in Training. Certified Facilitators may attend the full day or the morning session. The training is free and is approved for 3 or 7 FVIP continuing education hours.

May 22nd: FVIP Basics 3: Participant, Program & Class Process (7 Hours or 3 Hours)
This training covers updates to the FVIP Rules concerning the entire FVIP process, from participant referral, to intake and exit procedures, to class design, class rules, facilitation considerations, class culture and group process, compliance monitoring and reporting.
Facilitators in Training must attend the entire day for credit (7 FVIP hours).
Certified Facilitators may attend the full day (9 AM - 5 PM) for 7 FVIP hours or just the morning session (9 AM - 12:30 PM) to meet the 3 hour training requirement on the new FVIP Rules.
Registration and Cancellation
Registration is free. However, due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled training. This gives us an opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel by emailing [email protected] or calling 404-232-1830. You may not transfer your registration to another person without prior approval by GCFV staff. If you are a no-show to the training, you will be charged $50 to attend the training in the future.
