Webinar participants will be given an overview of the 2018 Georgia Domestic Violence Fatality Review Project Annual Report content. The intended audience is anyone who is part of a Fatality Review Team, Family Violence Task Force, or domestic violence program. Topics include:
- The theme and layout of the 2018 annual report,
- A synopsis of the lethality indicators most commonly present in fatality reviews,
- An overview of 10 key goals for improving domestic violence response in Georgia,
- Key findings from the Project's 15 years, and
- How to use the final report in your community.
Deadline for registration is January 3, 2019 and space is limited so please register early! After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
Continuing Education Units: This training has been approved by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for continuing education units (CEUs) for state-certified domestic violence shelters and by the Georgia Commission on Family Violence for 1 FVIP CE hour. You must attend a live session of the webinar to receive FVIP credit. Please print confirmation of your attendance and keep for your records.
