Teaching Prosocial Behavior
This training was approved for 6 training hours for FVIP facilitators.
9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Training Summary: In some ways, Teaching Prosocial Behavior is the key to what we do in a Family Violence Intervention Program. We are saying to the perpetrator that his behavior is anti-social in that the victim is being abused because the perpetrator believes he must be superior to the victim. In this workshop, we will examine this model and turn to the Motivational Interviewing model to use within our classes.
