SUMMARY:Focusing on Sexual Violence as a Tactic of Control: Teaching Sexual
  Respect Through FVIPs

DESCRIPTION:Sexual violence accompanies physical and psychological violence
  as tactics used by men referred to Family Violence Intervention Programs\
 , but is often de-emphasized in comparison. A de-emphasis on sexual violen
 ce may be a result of facilitator discomfort discussing the issue or a lac
 k of understanding about how sexual violence relates to other abusive tact
 ics. In this day long workshop\, Men Stopping Violence will share its defi
 nition of male sexual violence\, explore tactics on the spectrum of sexual
  violence\, and provide tools to teach sexual respect in Family Violence I
 ntervention Programs.\n\nCEUs: This training has been approved by the Com
 mission for 6 FVIP CE hours. Registration: Seating is limited. Priority
  will be given to approved FVIP facilitators in Georgia and FVIP facilitat
 ors in training in Georgia. Registration will not be complete until we rec
 eive a check from you in the correct amount owed ($25 for Georgia facilit
 ators and facilitators in training\, $50 for all others). \n\nQuestions:
