DESCRIPTION:Registration is confirmed after completing the FVIP Information
 al Session and successfully passing a background check.\n\nDo not register
  if you have not received confirmation.\n\nJuly 8\, 2026\, FVIP Basics 
 1: Joining the Movement to End Family Violence (7 FVIP Hours) - $50 (Pre
 requisite for FVIP Basics 2). This training explores the movement to en
 d family violence through discussions and activities\, including a review 
 of the history of batterer intervention programs in the United States and 
 Georgia. An overview of research on the effectiveness of batterer interven
 tion programs will be provided. The training will conclude with a detailed
  discussion of the steps and requirements of facilitator certification.\n\
 nJul7 9\, 2026\, FVIP Basics 2: Safety & Accountability (7 FVIP Hours
 ) - $50. This training explores the role of victim safety and participant 
 accountability in the work of family violence intervention programs in Geo
 rgia. Explore the concept of accountability\, discuss to whom are family v
 iolence intervention programs accountable\, and how can we embrace and uph
 old victim safety as the core of work with batterers. The training will in
 clude a detailed overview of the role and requirements of Victim Liaisons.
  This training covers updates to the FVIP Rules concerning the entire F
 VIP process\, from participant referral\, to intake and exit procedures\,
  class design\, class rules\, facilitation considerations\, class culture\
 , and group process\, compliance monitoring\, and reporting.\n\nSpace is l
 imited. Each training day costs $50 (non-refundable and non-transferable).
  Payment must be received by July 7\, 2026. Failure for GCFV to receive pa
 yment in the correct amount owed by July 7\, 2026\, will result in your sp
 ot being given to someone on the waitlist. You may attend one training se
 ssion or all two training days\, but Day 1 is a prerequisite for the remai
 ning days. Each training day costs $50 (non-refundable and non-transferabl
 e). You can pay online with a credit card. Once you register\, you will be
  emailed an invoice.  All payments are due on or no later than  July 7\,
  2026 to secure your registration.\n\n
