  Rules 2026\, this session serves as a gateway to the certification proces
 s for both Facilitators and Program Owners.\n\nPurpose and RequirementsMan
 datory Entry Point: Attending an Informational Session is required before 
 you can enroll in "FVIP Basics\," the primary 14-hour state-delivered trai
 ning.Background Check Authorization: During the session\, applicants must 
 submit a signed authorization for the Georgia Commission on Family Violenc
 e (GCFV) to conduct a comprehensive background check.Scope of Check: The b
 ackground check includes criminal history\, the Georgia Protective Order R
 egistry\, and Department of Motor Vehicles records. You must receive appro
 val from this check before proceeding to further training.Training Credit:
  The informational session does not count toward the required training or 
 continuing education hours needed for certification.\n\nFor Prospective Fa
 cilitators\n\nAs part of the initial certification\, a Facilitator must:At
