 e Theory and is facilitated by Dr. G Smith Cissé.  Dr. Cissé has mor
 e than 16 years experience facilitating groups for individuals who have co
 mmitted family violence offenses but more importantly she believes it is p
 ossible to end interpersonal violence through training and advocacy.  She
  has developed this training that includes not only Choice Theory but theo
 ries of change based on her work with individuals who have been victimized
  by DV and those who have committed offenses against others.  This traini
 ng can lead towards certification by GCFV and participants will have an op
 portunity to be certified through SCCT.\n\n \n\nDAY 1 OBJECTIVE:BY THE EN
 D OF DAY ONE OF PARTICIPANTS HAVE A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF THE HISTORY OF 
 THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCACY MOVEMENT IN THE! BRIEF REVIEW OF CHOICE THE
 ORY\, SOCIAL LEARNING THEORY\, PROCESSES\, AND KEY CONCEPTS RELATED TO FAC
 ILITATING GROUPS FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE COMMITTED FAMILY VIOLENCE OFFENS
 ES.\n\n \n\nDAY 2 OBJECTIVE:BY THE END OF DAY TWO OF THIS TRAINING PARTIC
 IPANTS WILL UNDERSTAND AND EXPLAIN CONNECTING HABITS\, GLASSER’S SOLVING
  CIRCLE\, P.A.U.S.E.\, EMOTIONAL REGULATION\, TACTICS OF NEUTRALIZATION\, 
 AND OTHER KEY ELEMENTS OF THE CHOOSING PEACE CURRICULUM.\n\n \n\nDAY 3 OB
