The purpose of the training is to enhance older victims’ safety and quality of life by strengthening collaboration among Victim Service Providers. At the completion of the training day, participants will be better informed on assisting and providing services for older victims of domestic violence and be able to:

  • Describe the unique dynamics of abuse in later life
  • Identify and utilize resources in the community
  • Promote collaboration and communication among victim service providers
